Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 Location: Liverpool Street, London Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) Role Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join a prestigious company in the Liverpool Street area. This role offers extensive training and development, with a clear progression route into a Lead Engineer position within 12 months. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across electrical and building services systems * Work on lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and plantroom equipment * Assist with fault finding, testing, and compliance checks (2391 beneficial) * Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site procedures * Support wider engineering team and client requirements Requirements: * Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (Level 3 or equivalent) * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations * 2391 Testing & Inspection desirable * HV experience or training a strong advantage * Minimum 5 years’ experience in UK commercial building services * Strong communication skills and client-facing presence What’s on Offer: * £50,000 annual salary * Monday to Friday (8am–5pm) * 29 days holiday plus bank holidays * Up to 10% employer pension contribution (double your 5% input) * Excellent training and progression opportunities (HVAP and management courses provided) * Clear route to Lead Engineer within the first year
